Eligibility Conditions: The recruitment of Assistant Professors will be based on the Latest UGC Norms.

The Minimum Qualification for appointment as Assistant Professor is Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an foreign University.

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption for NET & having acquired PhD shall be granted in accordance with UGC Regulations).

Fees for Assistant Professor:

Rs.500/- for UR/OBC/EWS category.

SBI 8000 recruitment: The State Bank of India (SBI) will conclude the application process for over 8000 posts at the official website, sbi.co.in on January 26. Interested candidates need to apply before the deadline. The aspirant will be hired at the post of junior associates. Candidates can edit the application form till February 10.

To be eligible, the candidates will have to clear preliminary and main exams followed by an interview. After selection, candidates will have to first serve a probation period of six months. Those in the age of 20 to 28 years having a graduate degree from a recognised institution can apply.

The IITM – Summer Fellowship Programme of two months with stipend is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high-quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through a goal-oriented summer mini-project undertaken at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Eligibility: Candidates pursuing 3^rd year of B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg) or 3^rd or 4^th year of Integrated M.E./M.Tech. the programme, 1^st year of ME/M.Tech/M.Sc./M.A, MBA with an outstanding academic background in terms of high ranks in university examinations are encouraged to apply, highlighting their academic performance and achievement including papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated, score/rank in Mathematics Olympiad and any other awards/distinctions obtained. [IIT students are not eligible to apply].
